פרויקט הנגשת ידע על דמוקרטיה

בתקופה שבה מוסדות הדמוקרטיה, שלטון החוק וזכויות האדם עומדים במרכז השיח הציבורי בישראל, הנגשת ידע מחקרי אמין ומבוסס חשובה יותר מאי פעם.

מטרת הפרויקט היא לגשר על הפער בין המחקר האקדמי לבין הציבור הישראלי באמצעות הנגשת מחקרים אקדמיים בשפה נגישה לציבור הרחב במאגר מידע ייעודי. הפרויקט נועד לחזק שיח ציבורי מושכל, לעודד דיון המבוסס על ראיות ומחקר, ולהעמיק את ההבנה של העקרונות הדמוקרטיים המעצבים את החברה הישראלית.

מאגר המידע כולל כיום למעלה מ-1,000 תקצירים בעברית של מאמרים אקדמיים שפורסמו באנגלית, וממשיך להתרחב מדי יום עם הוספת תקצירים של מאמרים נוספים.

הפרויקט הוא מיזם משותף של מרכז אדמונד ולילי ספרא לאתיקה, מרכז מאיר שמגר למשפט דיגיטלי וחדשנות באוניברסיטת תל אביב, וחוקרות וחוקרים ממגוון תחומי דעת ברחבי האוניברסיטה.

Selected Research on Democracy & the Rule of Law

At a time when democratic institutions, the rule of law, and human rights are at the center of public debate in Israel, access to reliable, research-based knowledge is more important than ever.

The project aims to bridge the gap between academia and the Israeli public by making leading academic research on these issues accessible in clear and readable Hebrew. By bringing cutting-edge scholarship beyond academic journals, the initiative seeks to strengthen informed public discourse, encourage evidence-based discussion, and deepen public understanding of the democratic principles that shape Israeli society.

The project currently includes more than 1,000 summaries of peer-reviewed academic articles. By making leading scholarship accessible in Hebrew, the project aims to promote broader engagement with research on democracy, the rule of law, and human rights, and to support thoughtful, knowledge-based public discussion.

The project was developed through a collaboration between the Edmond & Lily Safra Center for Ethics, Chief Justice Meir Shamgar Center for Digital Law and Innovation at Tel Aviv University and researchers from across the University.
